DESCRIPTION
EYES OF AUTUMN
Hello

Label : 54°40'orFight!
Format : CD
Style : Rock / Progressive Rock
Availability : Out of stock

Description :Recorded in June by Dilute's Jay Pellicci at John Vanderslice's Tiny Telephone studios, then mastered in August by Tom Carr, Hello is a vibrant and surprising, challenging yet warm progressive rock record. The album title and band name hand-written on the cover may suggest a childlike tendency, but do not be fooled. The only thing childlike about Eyes of Autumn is their enthusiasm and, well, fearlessness. Like a kid who hasn’t tasted the pain that comes with crashing a bike or on a skateboard, or that which comes from reproach or belittlement over self-expression, Eyes of Autumn approaches music with an unassuming, charming confidence, taking more chances than most established bands with something to protect, not prove. Best of all, the trio masterfully succeeds; an ear for timbre, eye for detail and guts for gusto all attributes they possess. Precocious, these chaps.
