Description
Collecting some of Serge Gainsbourg's finest early recordings from 1958 and 1959, Indifférente finds the legendary French provocateur in his rawest form. Pulled from his first two 10in releases and including live cuts and duets with Juliette Gréco, this is the essential document of Serge's beginnings, not long after his songwriting and singing prowess had been discovered by the famous chanteuse Michéle Arnaud who recorded some of his earliest material. If you dig Serge the sex symbol and international pop star, you've got to hear these jazzy, sultry, early chansons which launched him to superstardom.
