| Description : | SUBTITLE is to hip hop what THE LOCUST are to punk rock - that is, fucking-shit-up, from the inside out. A veteran of the L.A. underground who's shared stages with ANTICON, CANNIBAL OX, AESOP ROCK, SHAPE SHIFTERS, and LIVING LEGENDS, SUBTITLE has accumulated something of a cult following around southern California over the past five years. SUBTITLE has been a noteworthy presence in the hardcore, and largely overlooked, L.A. subculture of intellectual and progressive musician-MCs, purposely limiting his output to obscure CDRs and cheap cassettes.
