| DESCRIPTION | ||
 | V/A Deconstructing Beck Label : Seeland Format : CD Style : Rock / Electronic Availability : Out of stock | |
| Description : | Now being co-released by Seeland Records and illegal art (http://www.detritus.net/illegalart/), this is the compilation that instantly triggered a reactionary letter (http://www.detritus.net/illegalart/beck/letter.html) from Beck's lawyer and a chain of articles in everything from the Village Voice to Entertainment Weekly to the Sydney Morning Herald! Described by one journalist, Addicted to Noise contributor Claude Young , as 'abstract, experimental sound collages void of structure or melody. Sounds suddenly appear, fly around in circles, speed up, slow down, explode, whisper and then leave as quickly as they appear.' Made ENTIRELY from Beck's music and available by mailorder ONLY, this project was sponsored by rtmark (http://www.paranoia.com/~rtmark). It comes in a plain cardboard sleeve. | |
