| Description : | La mémoire étant ce qu'elle est, j'ai souvenir que ces Happy New Year m'ont sauvé d'une de ces soirées festivalières où l'accumulation de prestations, jugées alors trop guindées, trop électroniques, trop froides ou trop 'je ne sais quoi' et l'ennui (probablement la saturation) pointaient son nez. Certains jugèrent alors, et peut-être à raison, que Ron Anderson, 99 Hooker et Glenn Sorvisto étaient vraiment de 'gros cons yankees' et il était effectivement aisé de pointer d'un doigt accusateur ce côté terriblement tapageur de leur musique, cette insolence, cette vulgarité crasse mais c'est bien là tout ce qui à mes yeux pris alors valeur de fraîcheur, de singularité et plus simplement ce qui m'a fait prendre mon pied ce soir là. | |
