Trumpeter, electronic musician and avant-garde force ROB MAZUREK is in the forefront of the wave of modern jazz and modern creative music in today's electronic age.
Based in both Chicago and Sao Paulo Brazil, he leads a number of inter-connected ensembles, most of which have a huge, modern sound with a heavily electronic slant on jazz, Brazilian music and beyond.
This two-hour set by what is his largest ensemble includes musicians from TORTOISE (JEFF PARKER, JOHN HERNDON), SAO PAULO UNDERGROUND (GUILHERME GRANADO, MAURICIO TAKARA) as well as NICOLE MITCHELL, ANGELICA SANCHEZ, MATTHEW BAUDER, CHAD TAYLOR and more!
Rob was just featured in an extensive, 5 page article in April's DownBeat magazine that included discussion of this very album, as well as being on the cover in 2014 of UK's The Wire.
