| Description : | Thrust/Parry' is OMSQ's debut full-length album. After 2 split EP's, both released on vinyl on Antée Records, the Belgian band keeps exploring heavy instrumental soundscapes, confronting radical sludge, space rock and noise influences. The album will somehow surprise listeners used to classic doom tunes. It takes you to an unexpected journey through dark ambient drones, rough punch-in-your-teeth riffs and psychedelic fuzzy grooves. Good to know: some tracks may sound as a tribute to Italian Futurist artist Luigi Russolo, author of 'The Art of Noise' some 101 years ago. The album comes in a double LP format, limited to 300 copies, all hand numbered. The bundle also includes the CD version. | |
