DESCRIPTION |
| | SQUARCICATRICI Zen Crust Label : Wallace Records Year : 2014 Format : CD Style : Rock Availability : In stock
Price : 10.90 € - BUY
| | | | Description : | Squarcicatrici second act.
Zen Crust is our second album, but the first one to have two sides. Physically, because it's also released on vinyl. Visually, thanks to the art of Squaz, who signed the artwork. Then spiritually, because we are distant but united at the same time, in these times. Last but not least, musically, because this album goes from whisper to explosion, from themes to absolute freedom in a continuous rhythmic motion and circular motion. Once again friends and amazing artists have helped us: we dedicate this record to them.
Resistance joy wood anarchy anger misery liberation struggle violence steel clash mutation. As always Squarcicatrici surround themselves with guests and collaborators: musicians, photographers and filmmakers (Veronica Citi signs the official clip) and a special collaboration with the maestro of Italian comics Squaz. ZEN CRUST represents the evolution of the band's sound and goes beyond all borders, exposing all the musical souls of Squarcicatrici in a red-hot magma of punk, jazz, afro, electro, bossa, noise, angry poetry and world music.
