| Description : | Founded in 1997, Upsilon Acrux have gone through numerous personnel and stylistic changes in their dozen years of existence, with the band size ranging
from two to eight members. The band signed with Cuneiform Records and released the album Galapagos Momentum in 2007 to huge praise and then embarked on a one month cross-country tour. Since that time, they have continued to play frequent shows in and around their home base of southern California and within the past year played at a huge festival in Kalamazoo, MI, in front of 3,000 attendees, opening for Mission of Burma.
Currently an instrumental quintet consisting of dual guitars, keyboards, bass and drums, the band will be touring the USA and Europe with the release of this album. | |
