| Description : | Hamster Theatre are co-led by multi-instrumentalists Dave Willey and Jon Stubbs, with reed player Mark Harris, guitarist Mike Johnson, drummer Raoul Rossiter, bassist Brian McDougall and a number of other guests. This set includes their new studio album as well as a second disc of a live performance from 2002. Hamster Theatre straddle the edges of folk music; avant-garde; 'world' music; early 20th century French composers, such as Erik Satie and Maurice Ravel; contemporary composition and many other musical forms, bringing together elements of all of these styles, while never sounding 'just like' any one of them.
