| Description : | Since 2001, THE MARS VOLTA have toured the world with an ever-expanding lineup, supporting the likes of RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS and SYSTEM OF A DOWN, as well as headlining a number of solo tours in support of their two prior albums. The band's physical evolution from quintet to octet can be traced through hundreds of hours of live recordings, as the bulk of their performances over theyears have been tirelessly documented on tape.
