| Description : | For the past three decades composer, improviser and percussionist Adam Rudolph has performed extensively in concert throughout North & South America, Europe, Africa, and Asia. He has released 25 recordings under his own name, but never one like this! For his first release on Cuneiform, Adam leads a group of 11 guitarists: NELS CLINE, REZ ABBASI, DAMON BANKS, MARCO CAPELLI, LIBERTY ELLMAN, DAVID GILMORE, JOEL HARRISON, JEROME HARRIS, MILES OKAZAKI, MARVIN SEWELL and KENNY WESELL through a set of 13, short composed or improvisationally conducted works. Featuring a 16 page, full color booklet with photos from the session and detailed notes, Turning Towards The Light is an album of very unusual and very effective music for multiple guitars! | |
