| Description : | After the highly playful experimental vinyl 'Panier de Fruits,' Demain Sans Faute is back with a cassette entitled '1054 km.'
Behind this duo from Brest whose name sounds like an unfulfilled promise, there's AURÉLIEN, a true workaholic in the French DIY music scene. It would be challenging to keep track of the number of projects he's involved in. Here, we'll mention only MARILYN RAMBO and CHAFOUIN, both has been released on Cheap Satanism Records with a bunch of other labels, including EPICERICORDS, managed by the same Aurélien. When we say he never sleeps... '1054 km' kicks off with a long hypnotic piece that nods to the post-rock era when it was led by TORTOISE. The group then presents a series of quasi-instrumental tracks, each seemingly constructed around its own hypnotic pattern. There's a cinematic atmosphere with captivating kraut-rock undertones.
