| Description : | Marvin are a three piece band from Montpellier - France. 'Barry' is the third album of the band, originally released on African Tape and Sickroom Records in 2013, this sold out vinyl is reissued now by Head Records on a 180gr LP. Paradoxically, it is their heavier disc and more ambient, more rock and more pop. It perfectly combines the energy that made the success of Marvin concert and a sonic palette of increasingly rich and innovative. If many references of the group are from 70s (Led Zeppelin, Sabbath, Devo, Eno, Neu! ...) To be reinvested by the dexterity of the most demanding rock 90s (Trans Am, the Jesus Lizard ...), their music is now unique. Complex and immediate, 'Barry' is certainly their most accomplished album. In parallel, the group formed with Pneu, Papier Tigre and Electric Electric, 'La Colonie De Vacances', a quadraphonic concert where the audience is immersed in the middle of four scenes, groups with their directories and combining their affinities to sonic experience strange.
