| DESCRIPTION |
| | V/A Neptune / One Second Riot Label : Distile Records Year : 2007 Format : LP Style : Rock Availability : In stock
Price : 13.50 € - BUY
| | | | | Description : | Neptune (Boston, USA) is a three-piece rock band playing homemade instruments, created with bike parts, saws, old metal chairs, home built oscillators, amplified springs, metal drums with contact mics inside and other debris found in the trash. Their music, uncombed and noisy, has evolved with the instruments, blending the traditional sounds of rock music with what sounds like mistake-day at the ball bearing factory. One Second Riot comes from Lyon (France). This duet of musicians created the perfect balance between heavy indus-like patterns, and gloomy noisy bass riffs. Add samples taken from movies of the 50's and shouting through a speakerphone, and you obtain cold and powerful roller-coaster songs, where Shellac's metallic rock collapses with Bastard's experiments. Discover both of these bands with this split album, released in vinyl only, packed in a refined black and silver-inked jacket.
