| Description : | This is vivid, picturesque music. The trio interacts in small, architectural pieces, leaving ample space for improvisation, and strikes out in bold new directions. Chance is crucial, as is the emphasis on personal, individual lines of musical approach. Both as a unit and as soloists, the trio offers much more than the typical free play. In strongly lyrical compositions and highly competent musicianship, the ensemble engages us in a moving and convincing search for true essences.
