DESCRIPTION |
| | V/A Francesco Giannico / Stefano Spataro : 4 Sonatas For Electroacoustic Thoughts Label : Hysm? Records Year : 2008 Format : CD-R Style : Experimental Availability : In stock
Price : 10.40 € - BUY
| | | | Description : | Four Sonatas for electroacoustic thoughts is a microcosmos of modified sounds, folk-derived loops, noise nebulas in which it is not easy to see the light. The work comes from a collaboration between Francesco Giannico and Stefano Spataro. In a pragmatic sense, the album is a mix of field recordings of an audio/video installation about Taranto's Ilva (made by Francesco Giannico) and electronic oscillations/acoustic hints (by Stefano Spataro).
Nonmaterial sounds, layered over and over, folk memories and Interstellar Space strikes clash with discordant string lines and melodic scraps of an unspecified nature... A calm promenade in the unease of sound.
